We believe that democracy leverages the best of people by allowing everyone to have a voice. As such, we feel very strongly that the future of the protocol should be in the hands of the protocol’s stakeholders.

Metera is looking for as much decentralization as possible. It is our belief that the future of the protocol has to be self-sufficient and provide all necessary resources to advance the protocol in a sustainable way. Allowing for financial and impact inclusion.

That is why Metera’s DAO is built on top of the Clarity Protocol. Clarity provides the mechanisms to manage the treasury’s resource allocation and deciding on the protocol’s future developments.

Leveraging Clarity’s focus on breakthrough technologies involving DAO infrastructure, Metera can focus on building its core infrastructure. As the network matures and the required quorum expands, plans that gradually open and scale governance to users will be put in place and implemented.
